Act as a Force Multiplier: Mentor 2–4 systems engineers, raise the bar for code quality through reviews, and lead technical conversations across multiple engineering teams. Roles & Responsibilities End-to-End Lifecycle Ownership: Own the entire lifecycle of feature and infrastructure delivery, from gathering functional and non-functional requirements to design, implementation, and production support. System & Service Architecture: Design, develop, and architect reliable, modular APIs and distributed services to support highly scalable, multi-tenant cloud applications. Code Optimization & Scaling: Lead major engineering initiatives focused on code optimization, refactoring, performance tuning, and scaling existing backend systems. Production Governance: Ensure maximum system resilience, establishing robust monitoring, telemetry, rate-limiting, and multi-region deployment configurations. Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), Product Managers (PMs), and fellow Tech Leads to deliver cohesive, platform-wide capabilities. Engineering Standards Advocacy: Drive organization-wide adoption of best practices for Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and SOLID principles.
